New Harambee Stars winger Bruce Kamau is set to return to Greece with OFI Crete said to be keen on his services.
Amani who has spent most of his life in Australia was given a call-up to the Harambee Stars team in June ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers against Ivory Coast and Burundi but didn’t make the final squad as the Federation sorted his papers.

Currently a free agent after leaving Perth Glory, Pepeta can confirm that the player has been in talks with OFI, a club he featured for between 2021 and 2023 for one and a half seasons. The issue has been on the player’s wages since Greek clubs have been in financial turmoil for some time but an agreement is expected to be reached soon.
OFI will be hoping for a better season in the 2024/25 season after they finished fourth in the Greek Premier League Relegation Group after picking a meagre 35 points in 33 matches all season. Kamau himself didn’t have an impressive season with Perth in the last campaign after failing to score in his 20 appearances for the Australian club even though he provided four assists. Apart from Perth, Kamau has previously featured for Melbourne Victory, Adelaide United, Melbourne City FC, and Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia.
With OFI Crete, he played 25 matches, scoring once and managing four assists and the club wants him for his versatility since he can operate in different positions in attack.
Despite not featuring for Harambee Stars, Kamau has represented Australia national teams in the U21 and U23 levels.
