Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje has permanently moved to Serbian top-flight side Vojvodina on a three-year deal.
The former AFC Leopards man joined Vojvodina on an initial loan deal two months ago but having expressed his displeasure at how AIK treated him by not giving him enough game time, his agent has moved to speed to ensure that he leaves AIK permanently.

In confirming the club’s permanent transfer, the Serbian club noted; “Football club Vojvodina is pleased to announce that stopper Collins Sichenje is officially a member of the “old ladies”.
“Vojvodina reached an agreement with the Swedish AIK, from which Sichendze arrived on loan with the right to buy, and the club, with the unanimous approval of the sports sector, decided to buy the contract of the 20-year-old Kenyan national team player.”
AIK sporting director Thomas Berntsen said; “We wish Collins the best of luck in Vojvodina, where we hope he will have the opportunity to develop the great potential he possesses – and in the long term continue to make strides in Europe, which could mean an even better deal for AIK.”
On his side, the player added,” First I want to say a big thank you to AIK for the opportunity they gave me to be in a big club with fantastic supporters, my time at the club was shorter than I expected but I enjoyed the matches I got to play at the National Arena.
“To hear the cheers from Norra stand when you make a good tackle was really something special. I wish the club and all players all the best, AIK will forever remain in my heart.”
Since joining the club, the center back has played seven games in all competitions.
