Harambee Stars winger Timothy Ouma is attracting interest from several Italian Serie A clubs following his perfect start this season with Elfsborg.

The player has been a key figure for the Swedish side and scored on his UEFA Europa League debut this week to raise his profile as suitors circle to have his services in the coming short January 2025 window.

Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Dimarzio now reports that there are several teams in the Italian top flight watching the player after he was linked with a move to Empoli over the summer where a deal didn’t materialize owing to his club’s valuation of him.

“A 2004 Kenyan who is taking the stage in Sweden with the Elfsborg jersey. We are talking about Timothy Noor Ouma. An attacking midfielder, the twenty-year-old found the net on his debut in the Europa League against AZ Alkmaar. A sudden growth especially in the last few games, which has meant that various Serie A clubs have set their sights on him,” Di Marzio noted.

Ouma has managed 17 games so far in Allsvenskan this season where he has scored a goal and provided an assist. He has bagged one goal in the UEFA Europa League Qualifying stage before adding another this week as they went 3-2 down to AZ Alkmaar.
