“I want to score six goals in the second half of the season but as a midfielder, I’m looking forward to giving more assists,” Oyugi said during his first training session with the club. “I left Kenya with nine assists and I want to match that number and even do better before the season ends.”
The midfielder who will be in his second stint in Tanzania after earlier representing Biashara United, has urged his Kenyan fans to continue supporting him as he looks to be a good ambassador for the country.
“I have performed well in Kenya and looking to build on that and help the team to win games. I want to thank my Kenyan fans and continue supporting me in Tanzania as I want to be a good ambassador in this country,” he concluded.
Things won’t be easy for Oyugi as his first game for his new side will be against giants Yanga SC with his team currently placed second from bottom having only won two games the entire season.
