FKF Premier League side Mathare United has confirmed the departure of four players from their squad.

The mid-season transfer window swung open on Friday 31st January 2025 and the club is already re-jigging for the second half of the season as they seek to maintain their top-flight status after being promoted back last season.

In a statement, the club said, “With the 2024/25 mid-season transfer window officially swinging open on Friday 31st January, the club would like to confirm the departure of four players.

“Kevin Kimani, Chris Koloti, Hakim Msami and Christian Lubulu will not be part of the squad for the remainder of the season. Kimani and Koloti, who were on loan from AFC Leopards, have been allowed to return to their parent club.”

*66Msami who was also on loan from Mombasa Elite has been sent back to his parent club with Lubulu, who was an important player in the club’s promotion campaign, terminating his contract with the team by mutual consent.  

The Slum Boys are currently gearing for their next tie against FC Talanta which is scheduled to take place in Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Saturday 1st February 2025.
