A statement from the club confirming Ouma’s arrival noted, “Twenty-year-old central midfielder and Kenyan international Timothy Noor Ouma is joining Slavia from Swedish Elfsborg. The great talent of European football has signed a contract with Eden until June 30, 2029.

Prague’s Sporting Director said, “Timothy is a young, talented player, a representative of his country. We believe that he will be an asset to the typology of our game. He has great physical qualities, can speed up the game, is dominant in personal duels. He is also hardened by European matches. We have been watching him for a long time, we are convinced that he will be able to handle the demands of Slavia. I thank Elfsborg for fair dealings.”

On his side, the player said, “It feels great. I can’t wait to join the team and take the next step in my career. Slavia has a great team, it’s a challenge and an honour for me to be a part of it.”

Ouma is Slavia’s fifth winter signing after Divino Teah, David Moses, Vasiljuj Kušej and Jakub Markovič.

The player had been in the books of Elfsborg since 2022 and featured 23 times for his side last season scoring one goal and providing two assists.

The player made thirteen starts for Elfsborg in the Europa League, scoring a goal and providing an assist in a 2-3 loss against Alkmaar on September 25
