FKF Premier League side Gor Mahia are courting Nairobi City Stars midfielder Mohammed Hamudi Bajaber.
Pepeta can confirm that the club has presented an offer for the player and are waiting for his entourage to dissect the offer and give a positive response as they seek to boost their midfield in the short midseason transfer window which closes at the end of the month.

With Austin Odhiambo being linked with a move away from the club, Mahia has been in the market for a creative midfielder to replace Odhiambo or ease the burden off his shoulders as there is a feeling that he might be overworked.
21-year-old Bajaber has been an important player for the Kawangware-based side since joining them in February 2022. The player who reportedly attended trials at Danish top-tier side FC Midtjylland is a graduate of the Starfield Academy, Parklands and earned his FKF Premier League debut on 15 May 2022 in Ruaraka against Tusker.
His first start for City Stars was against AFC Leopards on 6 June 2022 and scored his maiden premiership goal against Wazito F.C. on 16 March 2023. He scored six goals last season and earned his first caps for the national team, Harambee Stars, in the Mapinduzi Cup staged last month in Zanzibar.
