Mathare United has been one of the busiest teams in the short FKF Premier League transfer window that is slated to close at the end of February 2025.
The club had confirmed the capture of three players on Friday and has now added striker Donald Ange to their ranks; with the player having represented them before.

In announcing the return of the lanky striker, Mathare noted,” Mathare United is delighted to announce the signing of striker Donald Ange from Kibera Black Stars. The Congolese forward returns to the club for a third stint and puts pen to paper on a one-and-a-half-year deal. “
The player has been on a hot streak in Kenya’s second football tier, the National Super League, where he has bagged 11 goals for his club which is chasing promotion next season to the Kenyan top flight.
The Congolese first stint with the slum boys came three years ago during John Kamau’s first stint as head coach and featured for the club in the 2022/23 season where he bagged six league goals before an injury cut short his season.
He briefly returned to the club mid-way through last season when Mathare was in the NSL and was a key figure in their promotion push.
The player has previously featured for Kariobangi Sharks too in the Kenyan top flight and becomes the club’s fourth signing this window following the arrival of John Nyawir, Ian Omodni and Peter Oudu.
