South Sudan international Paul Jawa has completed a move to French fourth-tier side FC Fleury 91 from FKF Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks.
The 20-year-old started his football journey at the South Sudan Youths Sports Association, an organization that nurtures young talents before joining the now-defunct Rainbow FC in 2021 until 2024. His performances earned him a move to Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks, where he featured in ten FKF Premier League matches.

On the international stage, Jawa has represented South Sudan at various levels. He was part of the U20 squad that competed in the AFCON U20 qualifiers and the 2023 tournament in Egypt. He later progressed to the senior team, playing in the 2023 African Games and the AFCON qualifiers, where he contributed to South Sudan’s historic 3-2 victory over DR Congo. He is also part of the squad competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
FC Fleury 91 is based in Fleury-Mérogis, France, and competes in the Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of French football. It has been growing steadily in recent years, aiming for promotion to the National 1 League. Fleury 91 is also recognized for its strong emphasis on youth development, making it an ideal destination for emerging talents like Jawa.
