Czech side Slavia Praha has loaned out Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Ouma to Lech Poznan in Poland.
Ouma moves on a season long loan in his bid to get more playing time having been frozen out since moving to Czech earlier in the year from Swedish side IF Elfsborg.

Confirming the loan deal, Poznan posted, “Timothy Ouma joined Lech Poznań on Friday evening. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder joined on a one-year loan from Czech side Slavia Prague. The contract, which runs until June 30, 2026, does not include a purchase option.”
In acquiring the services of Ouma, the club’s sporting director Tomasz Rząsa added, “We signed Timothy Ouma on loan from Slavia for a year without an option to buy. We wanted to react and secure our midfield, given that Radosław Murawski was sidelined during pre-season due to health issues.

“We know our new player, a Kenyan from Sweden. He played for Elfsborg, where he excelled in the Europa League. He’s a defensive midfielder who is very effective in defensive duels and aggressive in winning possession. He also has the ability to play forward after interceptions.”
On his side, the player said, “I mainly play as a defensive midfielder. I can’t wait to get to know my teammates and the entire club better. I’ve seen videos of the packed stadium and the support here, and I’ll do everything I can to put on my best performance for these wonderful fans.”
Ouma’s arrival at Poznan makes him the second Harambee Stars player in the Polish top flight with his countrymate Eric Ouma currently in the books of Rakow.
Lech beat Rakow to the league title last season by just a point and will represent Poland in next season’s Champions League starting from the Second Qualifying Round.
