Harambee Stars goalkeeper Faruk Shikhalo has completed a move to Ethiopia Premier League side Kidus Giorgis SA.

Shikhalos move comes two months after helping Stars reach the quarterfinal stage of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) where Kenya were one of the three co-hosts.

Kidus will be Shikhalo’s third club outside the country having represented YoungA frican SC, KMC FC and Mtibwa Sugar all in Tanzania.

The keeper joins from Bandari FC who already brought in keeper Levis Opiyo as his replacement from AFC Leopards and becomes the third player from Kenya to join the club after Patrick Matasi and Humphrey Mieno.

The club is currently placed third on the league table after match day one where they opened the season with over the weekend with a 1-0 win over Ethiopia Bunna; the keeper hoping that he can play apart when they host Ethiopian Insurance in their next game.
