Kelly Madada scored a brace as AFC Leopards overcame KCB 4-2 in an entertaining FKF Premier League game staged at the Sportpesa Arena on Wednesday 22nd January 2025.
After their loss to Talanta last week, Leopards head coach Fred Ambani made five changes to the starting team where a chunk of the first team members returned after a week of off-field woes.

Kennedy Owino, a surviving member from the last squad, was to put Ingwe in the lead when he planted a header past Faruk Shikhalo following a delivery from Ochieng Ovella. But the bankers were not going to take things lying down and deservingly restored parity through Stephen Etyang.
In what was proving to be an entertaining game, Ovella regained Leopards’ lead in the 19th minute via a sumptuous 30-yard free kick and when they had done enough to take a halftime lead, Francis Kahiro struck just a minute to the break for his ninth goal of the season for the Bankers equalizer.
Just as they did in the first half, Leopards started the second half in high gear and took the lead five minutes after resumption through Madada after being put through by Victor Otieno. Madada ensured the points were safe for the Boniface Ambani side with another goal ten minutes for time when KCB had done everything in search of an equalizer.
The win propelled Leopards to fifth on the league table having collected 25 points in the season with KCB remaining third on 28 points.
