Manager less Chelsea stunned Manchester City at the Etihad after leaving it late to hold the hosts to a 1-1 Premier League draw on Sunday evening.
The Blues arrived in the match without manager Enzo Maresca who left the club on New Year’s Day, putting the club into a state of chaos ahead of this match.

Under-21s boss McFarlane stood in as caretaker, taking charge of his first senior match as he lined up opposite Pep Guardiola, who had worked with Maresca before at City.
City thought they were headed for the three points having taken the lead through Tijjani Reijnders’ first-half strike but Enzo Fernandez struck deep in injury time to level it up; a result that will be welcomed by Arsenal who have now opened a six-point gap at the top of the table.

The draw means City move back to second in the table, level with Aston Villa and will hope for an improvement starting with a home game against Brighton up next.
Chelsea have now won just one of their last eight games and are fifth, but it remains to seen who will be in the dugout on Wednesday when they travel to local rivals Fulham.
