Mathare United head coach John Kamau is wary of the threat Tusker FC will poses as they come face to face in Round Three of the Sportpesa League.
United have won one game this season with Tusker losing their first two tie and according to Kamau they cant afford to face the Charles Okere side basing their tactics of the results of their opponents.

“We’ve tried to analyse the opponent by watching the two matches they have played, and one thing that stood out is that they have a quality side and we cannot approach the game focusing only on their results,” Kamau is quoted by the club’s portal.
“Another thing we’ve noted is that a huge number of changes were made by Tusker for their last game, and this makes tomorrow’s match a tricky one, as we do not know who will come as Tusker on Wednesday.”
Kamau beat Tusker when the two teams last met at the Dandora Stadium and wants his players to maintain the same mentality on their Wednesday duel.
“My biggest concern going into tomorrow (Wednesday) is, will my players execute the principles of Mathare United down to a tee. If we can do that, then I have nothing to worry about. We approached our last game with the correct attitude, and it paid off, and that is what I want to see against Tusker,” he added.
The Slum Boys have been boosted by the availability of Kevin Ouru and Herit Mungai who were substituted in their last game due to injury concerns.
