Gor Mahia, Nairobi United and Murang’a Seal booked their place in the semi-finals of the Mozzartbet Cup following their wins on games staged on Thursday.
Mahia beat Kariobangi Sharks 2-0 in a game staged at Nairobi’s Dandora Stadium where Cameroonian import Patrick Essombe gave them the lead just after 16 minutes. The Green Army had to wait until the last ten minutes of the game to seal the win through Alpha Onyango.

In another game of the day, Muranga’s Seal came from behind to beat Ulinzi Stars 3-2 and book their semifinals slot with Nairobi United produced a stunning display to eliminate Premier League outfit Kakamega Homeboyz after a 2-0 win.
It was the third team from the top flight that Nairobi United had eliminated from the competition having ousted Tusker FC and KCB FC in the previous stages.
