National Super League (NSL) side Fortune Sacco have appointed former Thika United captain Vincent Nyaberi as their new head coach.
Nyaberi arrives to permanently replace Sylvester Odero who tragically passed on in a road accident in July 2025.

In confirming Nyaberi’s appointment, Fortune wrote, “Fortune Sacco Football Club is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Mr. Vincent Nyaberi as the club’s new Head Coach, effective immediately.
“Mr. Nyaberi is a former captain of Shabana FC and Thika United, and brings with him extensive coaching and leadership experience acquired during his tenure at Mara Sugar FC, MCF FC, Thika United FC, and Shabana FC.”

Among his achievements, Nyaberi who is no stranger to the National Super League, helped Murangá Seal gain promotion to the Kenyan Premier League with the club stating that his philosophy aligns with their ambitions.
“The club believes that Mr. Nyaberi’s experience, discipline, and football philosophy align with our long-term vision and objectives,” the statement continued.
Nyaberi will be hoping to help his new club to promotion at the end of the season where they are currently placed fifth on 21 points with his first task coming against Mwatate United next week.
