Sportpesa Premier League side Posta Rangers have parted ways with head coach Sammy Omollo ‘Pamzo’ the club has confirmed.
Omollo who has been linked with a move to PAS Bomet wasn’t part of the club’s technical bench when they went down to Kakamega Homeboyz in their last game with the club appointing his assistant Collins Omondi to take charge of the team on an interim basis.

According to the club, Omollo has proceeded to a 30 days terminal leave with his contract with the club set to end on the last day of December 31st, 2025.
In the new restructure, coach Omondi will be assisted by Jaffer Salim and Rangers ex player Joseph Mbugi.Rangers who started the season brilliantly are currently placed sixth on 13 points and will be facing Bidco United in their next game.
Posta Rangers Statement in Full
The Management Board of Posta Rangers FC has with immediate effect appointed Mr. Collins “Korea” Omondi as the Interim Head Coach following the release of Mr. Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo from the Technical Bench.
Mr. Omollo has officially proceeded on a 30 days Terminal Leave awaiting expiry of his employment contract on 31st December, 2025.
In the meantime, Mr. “Korea” Omondi will be assisted by Jaffer Salim and Joseph Mbugi as 1st and 2nd Assistants respectively. All the three coaches are CAF B holders with requisite experiences.
This appointment was communicated to the joint forum of Players and Technical Bench today during the Performance Review meeting with the Management Board. ‘Korea’ has been serving as the 1st Assistant Coach from February 2021 to date.
