One of the key contributions of these branches is revenue generation. Each year, members pay their registration fees, contributing to the financial health of the club. Additionally, the branches themselves also pay annual registration fees, further bolstering the club’s coffers. These funds are vital for the day-to-day operations of the club, helping to cover various expenses and ensuring that the team remains competitive.

Beyond financial support, the branches also play a crucial role in rallying fans to attend matches. They often organize transportation, hiring buses to ferry fans to and from games, ensuring that the team enjoys strong support regardless of where they play. The sight of busloads of enthusiastic fans arriving at match venues is a testament to the branches’ commitment to the club.

Recently branches have come up with innovative ways to empower the Leopard’s team and its members. For example, the Westlands and Eastlands Unit that are running table banking among its member branches. In addition, the U45 has mounted a big plan to motivate players through Gala awards set to happen on 21st August 2024 at Maa Hotel.

This event aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding players, fans, and branches for their contributions throughout the 2023/2024 season. According to the chairperson of the U45 Unit branch, this initiative is a way to boost the morale of the team as they prepare for the next season.

“AFC Leopards has not won a league title for over 20 years, but as fans, we aren’t giving up,” the chairperson stated. “That’s why we decided to host a gala and appreciate the top contenders.
