In confirming the arrival of the goalkeeper, Soy said; “Soy United is delighted to announce the signing of experienced Kenyan international goalkeeper Morgan Alube Ambuka, who joins the club on a permanent transfer.
The custodian links up with the Blue Eagles from SportPesa League newcomers APS Bomet FC, bringing invaluable experience, leadership, command, and depth to the club’s goalkeeping department as the 2025/26 FKF National Super League season continues.”
On his part, the club’s goalkeeper’s coach Isaac Sawanga said: “He is a great goalkeeper whom I have followed for a while. He possesses all the attributes of a modern-day keeper. His experience will be of great value to our young duo of Monio and Omuse, and I am confident he will meet the demands we have at stake.”
Apart from APS Bomet, Ambuka has previously featured for Muhoroni Youth, Chemelil Sugar, Vihiga United, and Murang’a Seal and was part of the Harambee Stars team that participated in the 2025 Mapinduzi Cup held in Zanzibar.
He becomes the club’s fourth mid-season signing, following the arrivals of Mohammed Wangai, Robinson Kamura, and Moses Shikanda.
