Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere says the team is ready to bounce back to winning ways ahead of Wednesday’s matchday three of the 2025/26 SportPesa League.

The Brewers come into the duel against the Slum Boys off back to back defeats and coach Okere says they are keen to right the wrongs and get back to winning ways.

“It is a tough period of course losing two games in a row, but we have also tried to look at the positives that will lift the team’s spirits heading into tomorrow’s game. We had a good pre-season with so many good moments that we can pick and bring them onto our league matches,” the coach said.

He added; “One area that we have worked on a lot is prevention of goals. We have conceded four goals in two matches but in circumstances which we should have controlled better so over the last two days of training this is an area we have looked at keenly.”

On meeting a Mathare side coming off a confident win, the coach expects it tough. “They are a very good side side with technical players and are confident at the moment so we will approach that match with a lot of caution but we must head there confident.”
