Despite Harambee Stars traveling to Iran for their friendly match on Tuesday, a section of Kenyan players who didn’t receive a call up by head coach Engin Firat continued with their club duties over the weekend.
On Saturday, midfielder Athuman Gonzalez was introduced in the 71st minute as Sabadell went 1-2 down to the Barcelona reserve team in the Primera Division RFEF. The loss leaves Sabadell at position 14 on the log with 35 points with Barcelona moving to fifth on the table with 48 points after 29 games.

In another game involving a Kenyan on Saturday, Johanna Omolo was introduced in the 46th minute in URSL Vise 2-1 loss away to Thes Sport in the Belgian First Amateur Division. Vise remains 11th with the loss on 41 points, just a point below Thes Sport after 30 round of games.
