Harambee Starlets forward Mwanahalima Adam Jereko popularly known as Dogo has moved to Danish side HB Koge.

The player has barely played for Sporting Kansas since joining them in August 2024 and moves to Koge on a loan deal until the end of the year.

“Mwanalima Adam Jereko, better known as ‘Jereko’, joins HB Køge Women on a loan deal from Kansas City Current until the end of the year. The 27-year-old Kenyan attacking midfielder can play both as an attacking midfielder and on the wings,”Koge said in a statement.

Jereko who only made three official appearance for Kansas expressed her delight in moving to Denmark and couldn’t wait to get started.

“I was extremely excited when I heard that I would be starting a new chapter at HB Køge. It has long been a dream of mine to play at this level – to meet new people and show my teammates what I can do. I will give everything to bring my skills to play and contribute to the team’s success. I am really looking forward to working with the team, because it is through cooperation and togetherness that we can create something great,” Jereko said.

The club’s sports director Walid Khoury added, “We are pleased to have signed Jereko, who comes to HB Køge after two seasons with Kansas City Current. She brings not only technical quality, but also valuable experience from a high international level. We expect her to make a noticeable difference from day one. Her leadership and game intelligence will be a great asset to the team’s dynamics.”

Jereko joined Kansas City in 2024 from Turkish side Hakkarigücüspor and was part of the team that won the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup in 2024.

Koge plays in the Danish Women top flight and finished third last season. They will begin their new season on August 12th 2025 with a game against Odense.
