Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere says he expects a tough and competitive match when the Brewers come up against Bidco FC at the Kasarani Annex on Friday evening.
Okere described the Thika-based side as a compact and disciplined team, capable of punishing opponents both on the break and from set pieces.

“Bidco are a very compact side; they defend in numbers and are well organized. They have a very good squad and a really capable technical bench as well so it is not a team that you can take lightly. They have players who can hurt you on the transition and are very strong on set pieces. We have to approach the game with total concentration and be ready to match their intensity,” said Okere.
The Brewers have found rhythm in recent weeks, picking up positive results in their last four matches, and the tactician believes this momentum will be vital as they seek to extend their good run.
“The team has shown steady improvement and the confidence is clearly growing. We are better now in terms of balance, energy, and understanding. The results have helped to build belief within the group,” he noted.

Okere was also quick to point out the progress made in defense, where the team has conceded fewer goals compared to the start of the season.
“Defensively, we’ve become more solid. The players have worked hard on our shape and communication, and that has made a big difference. We are now conceding fewer goals and controlling matches better,” he explained.
However, the coach admitted that while the team has created numerous scoring opportunities, converting them remains a key area of improvement.

“We’ve been creating a lot of chances in every game, but we need to be more clinical. In football, what matters most is turning those chances into goals. That’s something we’ve been emphasizing in training, and I believe it’s only a matter of time before everything clicks. We have had two days to train since our last match and these are some of the things we have been working on,” Okere added.
With confidence high and defensive stability improving, the Brewers will be out to maintain their upward trajectory, but Okere insists that respect and focus will be key against a dangerous Bidco side.
