Harambee Starlets duo of Gentrix Shikangwa and Cynthia Shilwatso are back in the country after stints in Turkey and Spain respectively.
Shikangwa has been in the books of Fatih Karagümrük for the past one year with Shilwatso having been with EDF Logrono since 2020 when they were playing in the Spanish top flight but leaves them after a season in the nation’s second tier.

Both girls have seen the end of their contracts with the clubs and are currently back in the country with offers already flocking for their services. Top on the heels of Shilwatso is Tanzania Fountain Gates and Kenya Women Premier League Vihiga Queens.
Shilwatso had a one-week session with the Tanzania side earlier in the month but is yet to sign with the club as she weighs her options.
For Shikangwa, she has been training with Kenyan Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz as her former side Vihiga Queens is currently off-season, and a return to Europe is said to be on the cards.
Meanwhile, Trans Nzoia Falcons’ and reigning Kenya Women Premier League top scorer Violet Nanjala is expected to leave the country next week to sign with Moroccan top-tier Side Municipal de Laayoune after a successful trial session with them in March this year.
