Simba Queens have already earned KES 24M from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Tanzania side has a date with defending Champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday as they seek a final slot set to be played on November 13 in Morocco.

The Charles Lukula side finished second in their group to book a semi-final slot, a move that will earn them a sum of  USD 200 000 from CAF.

Should they beat Sundowns, the ladies will have a chance of picking up a sum of  USD 400 000 (Approx. KES 48M) which is given to the overal winner with the runners-up set to pocket  USD 250 000 (Apprx. KES30M).

There are reports that the club management have promised the team some hefty bonus should they make it to the final too.

The teams that failed to go past the group stage will walk home with  USD 150 000 and  USD 100 000 for the third and fourth-placed teams respectively.
