Harambee Starlet forward Marjolene Nekesa featured as Slavia Prague went 0-1 to SKN St. PoltenSKN St. Polten in a UEFA Women’s Champions League game staged on Wednesday.

Slavia came into the tie on the back of two losses against AS Roma and giants Wolfsburg and wanted to right the wrongs of the previous games and almost did that only to be outdone by an extra-time goal from Mikolajová; a result that leaves them rooted at the bottom of their group.

Nekesa started the game on the bench and was introduced in the 75th minute for Cerna but the change did less in their aim of swinging the game in their favor.

In another game of the group, Roma and Wolfsburg fought to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday; both teams are now tied at seven points after match day three even though the Germans have a better goal difference. St, Potten sits third with three points with Slavia being last after losing all their matches.

Slavia will travel to Potten on match week four slated for December 8 2022 and anything other than a win will see their champions league campaign up in smoke. They however return to league action this weekend away to Dynamo Ceske.
