Harambee Starlet striker Marjolene Nekesa completed the entire game as Slavia Prague picked their first point in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Group B with a 1-1 draw against St. Polten on Thursday night.

Slavia arrived in the match day four having not conjured any positive results against any of their group opponents but was given a lifeline when Ruzickova gave them a 27th-minute lead but they were to be breached in the 40th minute by hosts Plten who restored parity in the 40th minute through Zver in what proved to be the only goals of the match.

The draw leaves Prague rooted at the bottom of the group with a point with giants Wolfsburg placed top of the group with 10 points after beating AS Roma 4-2 on the same day. Roma is placed second with seven points with Polten placed third with four points.

In their group journey, Prague started their campaign with a narrow 1-0 loss to Roma in Italy and was beaten 2-0 by Wolfsburg 2-0 in their second game. Polten was to beat them 1-0 on match day three with both sides battling to a 1-1 draw on match day four.

In their first game against Roma, Nekesa was introduced in the 68th minute, was to be introduced in the 74th minute against Wolfsburg, and came on in the 75th minute in match day three against Polten.

Attention for Wekesa and her team now shifts to their next tie against Wolfsburg which is set to take place next week.
