Vihiga Queens midfielder Joan Nabirye has signed a six months contract with Uganda Women Premier League side Kampala Queens WFC.
Nabirye has been out of action since leaving the country late last year and has been club searching where there are reports that he signed for two clubs in her native country.
Confirming her arrival, Kampala Queens noted: “We are proud to announce the signing of midfielder Joan Nabirye from Kenyan side Vihiga Queens FC. Welcome to the Palace Joan.”

Nabirye moved to Vihiga Queens in 2020 where he signed a four-year deal but vanished late last year with her club not coming clean about her whereabouts. Efforts to reach out to her have been futile with Vihiga forced to continue with their programs without her services.
