Harambee Starlets striker Jentrix Shikangwa has been named the Tanzania Women’s Premier League best player in the month of March.
The attacker who is currently the leading scorer in the league managed 270 minutes in the month and scored three goals and becomes the second player from Simba Queens to scoop the award this season after Opa Clement who has since left for Turkish side Besiktas.

The former Vihiga Queens starlet has so far scored 13 goals in the league this season one better than her closest challenger Donisia Minja of JKT Queens; she will be hoping to add to the tally when they take on Alliance Girls in their first game of the month tomorrow.
Shikangwa joined Simba in September 2022 and has been one of their key players where she plays with Kenyan compatriots Corazon Aquino and Ruth Ingosi; the move com9ng after a short stint with Turkish side Karagumruk SK.
