In other games on Wednesday, Chelsea FC women beat BK Hacken Women 3-1 in a clash staged in Sweden. Sam Kerr scored gave Chelsea the lead just minutes after kick off but Clarissa Larisey managed to equalise with a pin-point header. Chelsea had other ideas as a brace from  Erin Cuthbert helped them to the win.

Bayern Munich’s unbeaten run in the UWCL group stage has come to an end after going 1-0 down to Ajax Women.  Ashleigh Weerden had an effort from outside the box hit the crossbar before Ajax’s Romee Leuchter popped with what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half-time.

Paris Saint Germain earned a vital win away at Roma to move themselves out from the bottom of Group C.

The 3-1 win saw hosts Roma go behind when Tabitha Chawinga luckily tapped home a sloppy first touch. Marie-Antoinette Katoto doubled the lead after beating three Roma defenders in the box and striking from point-blank range. A late third then arrived via a volley from Korbin Albert with the hosts getting their consolation from Manuela Giugliano.
