Harambee Starlets goalkeeper Lilian Awuor has moved to Romania’s top-tier side Farul Constanta.
Awuor signed a three-year deal with French Division One side Soyaux Women in January 2022 but found games hard to come by and in the process lost her number one position with the Kenya Women national team Harambee Starlets.

After acquiring the services of Tabita Tailoru, goalkeeper Lilian Onyango Awuor has joined the team. 24-year-old Lilian is part of the Kenyan national team that has participated in the Africa Cup of Nations.”
On her part, Awuor said: “I am happy to be part of this team.”
Apart from Soyaux, Awuor had a short stint with Olympique De Valence where she was until December 2023.
She has previously featured for the Kenya U20 side and joined Vihiga Queens after completing her KCE Examination at Nyakach Girls in 2017. At Vihiga Queens, she was part of the team that represented the country in the inaugural 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt where they were eliminated in the group stage.
