FKF Women Premier League champions Kenya Police Bullets FC has confirmed the signing of Kenya Under 17 defender Elizabeth Ochaka for an undisclosed period.

Ochaka is one of the most coveted young players in the country having led the Junior Starlets to the FIFA Women’s Under 17 World Cup that will happen later in the year.

Confirming the arrival of the center back, Police said in a statement: ”We are thrilled to officially unveil Elizabeth Ochaka Elizabeth the current U17 captain who led the national team to their first-ever World Cup appearance, marking a historic milestone in Kenyan football.

“Ochaka’s leadership and skills have been pivotal in achieving this unprecedented feat, making her arrival with us a moment of great significance. Her debut with our team is eagerly anticipated, as she brings not only talent but also a piece of football history to our club and its supporters.”

Apart from Ochaka, Police had already confirmed the arrival of Emily Moranga from Nyakach Girls High School. The Chapa Dimba Champion arrives at the club to bolster their attack as they seek to perform better in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Another player who had already been roped by coach Beldine Odemba is midfielder Jane “Didi” Hato who arrives from Mathare United Women Team. The midfielder, who is the daughter of Harambee Starlets assistant coach Ann Aluoch, is the captain of the Kenya Under 20 Women’s Team.
