Harambee Starlets players were feted in the 2024 Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Awards staged in Dar Es Salaam on Thursday night.
Goalkeeper Caroline Rufa of Simba Queens bagged the Best Goalkeeper award of the 2023-2024 Tanzanian Women’s Premier League season after beating Marian Shabaan of Bunda Queens and Rajath Abbas of JKT to the award.

With the award, the Butere Girls alumni was incorporated in Team of the Season where she was joined by compatriots Ruth Ingosi, Jentrix Shikangwa and Corazon Aquino who all play with her at Simba.
In the Boys category, Yanga’s Aziz Ki was the man of the moment after walking home with four Awards. The Burkina Faso attacker was named as the Most Valuable Player for the Tanzania NBC Premier League Season 2023/24.
Ki also received the Golden Boot award after netting 21 goals last season, the Midfielder of the Season award and the Best Player in the Federation Cup
The Men’s Award was dominated by Yanga where Yao Kouassi, Dickson Job, Ibrahim Hamad, Mudatthis Yahya and Maxi Nzengeli were named in the team of the season.
