FKF Premier League side, Murang’a Seal, is gearing up to launch both a women’s team and a youth development program in line with the club licensing requirements.
The club’s chairman, Robert Macharia, made the announcement, outlining the exciting new additions aimed at enhancing their football structure.

“We’ve had a men’s youth team since last year, but this season we are looking to make significant improvements. The youth team will now participate in the regional league,” Macharia stated.
In addition to the men’s youth team, Murang’a Seal will introduce a women’s team that will compete in FKF Division 1, marking a significant step toward gender inclusivity in the club.
“We are also forming a Murang’a Seal Women’s team that will play in Division 1. Alongside this, we’ll establish an Under-15 team, and we’re hopeful that a league for this age group will be introduced,” the chairman added.
Macharia also revealed ambitious plans to establish an academy structure within the club, which is set to launch next year. “We have already put in place a program where young, talented kids, especially those transitioning to secondary school, will be under our care. They’ll stay with us, be enrolled in local schools, and receive training at our facilities under the guidance of our coaches,” he shared.
