Kenya Under-17 Women’s Football team head coach Mildred Cheche has named her squad that is set for a training camp in Spain.
The camp is in preparation for the upcoming FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup set for the Dominican Republic later this year with the tactician calling up to 23 players for the camp where they are set to participate in a series of friendlies.

Cheche has dropped a total of 12 players from the squad that helped her in the qualification with the names including the much talked about Claire Meris, and Mitshelle Waithera as she prioritized a balance of fitness, form, and tactical alignment.
Sheryl Amuok misses the squad due to injury sustained during the East Africa School Games with the final 23 ladies squad set to depart the country on Thursday morning for Spain.
The 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will take place from October 16 to November 3, 2024. The Junior Starlets will kick off their group stage matches on October 18 against England. They will face Korea DPR on October 20, and complete their group fixtures on October 24 against Mexico.
