The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has picked Ulinzi Sports Complex as the venue that will host the 2025 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Qualifiers between Kenya and Tunisia.
There had been reports that the tie would be staged at MISCA Kasarani but the confirmation now puts the matter to rest as both Kasarani and Nyayo Stadium, two of the Nation’s best facilities, are under renovations for the 2025 CHAN Tournament.

In a communication to newsrooms on Tuesday, FKF noted, “Ulinzi Sports Complex will be the venue for Harambee Starlets’ 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier home match against Tunisia on Friday, February 21, 2025.
“The second leg will be played away in Tunis, Tunisia, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.”
Speaking about their opponents, Kenya’s head coach Beldine Odemba admitted that they will be facing a strong side in the qualifiers but was ready for the task as she seeks to help the nation qualify to the next round of the qualifiers.
“Tunisia is a strong side, but we are ready for the challenge ahead. In our home match, we need to score and press forward aggressively to secure a positive result,” she said.
Starlets began their preparation for the tie on Monday 10th February 2025 with a total of 26 players having reported to camp.
