Junior Starlets head coach Mildred Cheche has named her travelling Squad for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Uganda in Kampala.

The first leg of the second-round qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Nakivubo Stadium, kicking off at 4:00 PM EAT with the squad featuring a mix of fresh talents and some familiar faces from the previous qualification campaign.

Fresh from their historic World Cup debut in the Dominican Republic, the team is eager to build on that experience and secure an early advantage in the two-legged tie and coach Cheche has expressed confidence in her squad.

“The girls are feeling motivated and are ready for the match. We’ve prepared well, we are in high spirits, and the team is ready,” Cheche said.

The team is set to depart for Uganda on March 6, with the return leg scheduled for Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Nairobi. Kickoff for the home fixture is set for 3:00 PM EAT. The winner on aggregate will advance to the third round of the qualification journey.
