The 2025 Bingwa Fest Grand Final Tournament Kicked off in Kisumu on Tuesday, 15th April at the Jomo Kenyatta Grounds and the Moi Stadium.
There was a total of eight games on the first day, with the ladies and the men’s categories playing four games each.

Kenya U17 international Marion Serenge and Elizabeth Mideva wasted no time in reminding everyone about their prowess after helping the Western representatives, Mali Mali Ladies to a 5-0 win over Turkana Queens. Mideva and Shirlyne Nabengele scored a brace each with Serenge grabbing the other goal.
In other games in the girls’ category, Agoro Queens of Nyanza were beaten 3-0 by Mas Queens of Eastern, Kenpoly Queens battling to a 1-1 draw against Gachanka Queens, while SC Ayaro of Nyanza overcame Embakasi South Ladies from Nairobi 3-1.
In the men’s category, action begun with Bungoma Stars overcoming Al Aziza 1-0, Juku Nyabongo overcoming Kappa FC 5-0, Leads FC rallying from a goal down to hold GFE 105 to a 1-1 draw while Obunga FC closed the day with a 3-1 win over Bandari Youth.
