Arsenal have made a record bid worth £105m for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in what is their third proposal for the midfielder.
The Mikel Arteta side have already seen their first two bids rejected by the Hammers and should the latest offer be accepted, it would not only smash Arsenal’s all-time transfer record but become the British transfer record – surpassing what Manchester City paid Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in 2021.

Manchester City also lodged an offer worth £90m earlier on Tuesday as they look to replace Gundogan who already left for FC Barcelona but according to reports from 90min, the player would prefer a move to the Emirates.
The offer on the table is worth £105m in total, with £100m guaranteed and an additional £5m in add-ons.
The Gunners are looking to wrap up their deals early enough in the summer as they are on the verge of sealing moves for Chelsea’s Kai Havertz and Ajax’s Jurrien Timber, who between them are likely to cost over £100m.
Rice latest reports come at a time when tabloids have claimed that the player has accepted personal terms with the Gunners who are looking to offload Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey.
