Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed referees from Burkina Faso to oversee the 2026 World Cup Qualifier match between Kenya’s Harambee Stars and Burundi set for Friday 7th June 2024 in Malawi.
Jean Quattara will be the center referee of the game and will be having compatriots Seydou Tiama and Habib Oumar Sanou as his first and second assistants in the match. The fourth official being Benoit Bado also from Burkina Faso.

The Match Commissioner will be Bennett Kenneth Bailey from South Africa with Tanzania’s Leslie Liunda being the Referee Assessor.
The Federation further revealed the ticket prices for the game which is set to Kick Off at 4pm EAT. Regular tickets will retail at K5000 (sh 376), VIP tickets: K20000 (sh 1500), Corporate box (admits up to 10 people): K30000 (sh 2200); fans advised to purchase tickets on the match day outside the stadium.
According to the Football Kenya Federation, the matches will be broadcast live on KBC TV in Kenya, allowing fans across the region to partake in the excitement.
Harambee Stars arrived in Lilongwe on Sunday with Burundi having made it to Lilongwe on Wednesday. After the Burundi tie, Stars are set to face Ivory Coast on June 11, 2024 with all games set for Bingu Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi.
