A place in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup will be on the line when Kenya Police FC and Tusker FC face off in the 2026 Mozzart Bet Cup final at Kwale Stadium on Sunday.

The two sides head into the season-ending showdown with more than silverware at stake, knowing victory will guarantee continental football next season through Kenya’s CAF Confederation Cup berth.

Police enter the final as former winners, having lifted the trophy in 2024 after defeating KCB on penalties to secure their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup. However, after finishing third in the recently concluded FKF Premier League season, the cup presents their only route back to continental competition.

Nicholas Muyoti’s side booked their place in the final after overcoming Bandari FC in a penalty shootout and will be looking to end the campaign on a high.

For Tusker, the final offers a chance to salvage a disappointing season that saw the brewers finish ninth in the league standings. A victory would not only deliver silverware but also secure a return to African football.

The winners will pocket Ksh3 million and qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, while the runners-up will receive Ksh2 million. Earlier in the day, Bandari FC and KCB FC will contest the third-place playoff.
