The final game saw a pulsating contest where hosts Jimo FC, who finished second with five points, drew Reru to a 1-1 draw in a test that was watched by Seme Member of Parliament James Nyikal and Raila Odinga Junior who was the chief guest.

According to Oguda, the tournaments aim was to sensitize the community about the NADCO Report as he felt most people have never understood the committee’s aim in ensuring a just Kenya.

“This wasn’t a political tournament as most people would think. My aim was to inform the local community about our committee and what we do in ensuring that we have a just Kenya. Most people have never understood our work and such a platform ensures that our people have an idea of what is entailed in the ten point agenda orchestrated by the President and the late Raila Odibga,” he said.

The COIN 10 committee was set up after President William Ruto and Odinga signed a political agreement (handshake / Memorandum of Understanding) in March 2025 to work together on a common national agenda.

The committee’s job is to oversee and push forward the implementation of a broad 10-point reform agenda that came out of that deal — including reforms aimed at national unity, governance, constitutional provision, fighting corruption, youth empowerment, and other big national issues.
