Gor Mahia threw a two-goal lead in their FKF Premier League 2-2 draw against Posta Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
Omala didn’t wait too long to show why he is currently the most in-form striker in the league by opening the goalscoring proceedings in the 6th minute when he headed in Boniface Omondi’s cross. Omala was to grab his brace before the halftime break for his 23rd goal of the season in 25 games and the league giants looked cruising until the second half.

In other matches of the day, ten-man Ulinzi labored to a 1-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks in a clash staged at the Ulinzi Complex, Langata. The lone goal was scored by defender Paul Muchika who tapped in from close range from a Boniface Muchiri free kick; Muchiri himself got sent off in the second half for dissent.
At Sudi, Nzoia Sugar FC maintained their perfect record of not losing at home this season with a convincing 3-0 win over visiting Mathare United with Kennedy Owino bagging his ninth goal of the season in KCB’s 2-0 win over Wazito FC.
