The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has confirmed changes to Harambee Stars’ June international fixtures following logistical challenges that affected the team’s initial plans.
Kenya had originally been scheduled to play Palestine and Kyrgyzstan during the FIFA international window. However, the two matches have now been replaced with a double-header against Lesotho.

Both matches will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa, as Harambee Stars continue preparations for upcoming continental assignments.
The first encounter is set for Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 4PM EAT, while the second match will be played on Sunday, June 7, 2026, also kicking off at 4PM EAT.
FKF noted that the June window will give the technical bench another opportunity to assess the squad and continue building the team ahead of future competitions.
The matches are expected to provide head coach Benni McCarthy with a chance to further evaluate players and strengthen combinations as Kenya intensifies preparations for major continental assignments, including the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
