“I want to thank the management for giving me this opportunity to lead this team on an interim basis. I want to say this is not something new to me since I did it with Mathare United and I know what it takes. Im working as much as I can to ensure that we get the points in the remaining games,” Koko said to the club’s media after his first session with the team.
The tactician who arrived at the club as a keeper trainer however admits that their form had affected his players mentally and is working on the player’s mental state before the resumption of the league.
“My first session has been good. These players are not new to me because I have been working with them. I want to make them happy again and must work on the mental aspect after our several losses. When they are not good mentally, it will be difficult to achieve our objectives so I have to ensure that aspect is right before we resume the league,” he added.
