Harambee Stars midfielder Collins Sichenje made his KuPS debut on Friday night as they held hosts KTP to a goalless draw in the Veikkausliiga.

The Kenyan started from the bench in the tie but was introduced with 15 minutes left on the clock for Justin Bakker in what was the club’s second game of the season; KuPS going 2-1 down in their league opener against Inter Tuku last week.

Sichenje who slotted on the left side of a three-man defence will hope for more game time when his club takes on Honka in their next game slated for 19th April at the Vare Arena from 6pm.

The defender is at the club on a year-long loan from Swedish side AIK in a bid to get more game time.

In another game that involved a Kenyan on Friday, Michael Olunga featured in the entire game as Al Duhail went 0-2 down away to Al Gharafa.

The loss saw Duhail lose their top spot to Al Arabi who are now a point ahead of them even though their title rivals have played a game more.
