Nairobi United goalkeeper Ernest Mohammed has promised the club fans the Mozzartbet Cup title when they face Gor Mahia in the final on Sunday.
Mohammed has been a key figure for the newly promoted FKF Premier League side where he saved penalties in games against Mara Sugar FC and KCB in the previous round and described the final as any other game.

Speaking after handing his Mozzartbet redeemed Humanitarian Award to the Mathare Youth Sports Association (MYSA), the Ghanaian said he was prepared for the clash against Gor and urged the club fans to turn in their droves for the game.
“I am very well prepared for the finals and I don’t have any pressure. I have played against some of the biggest teams in the (FKF) Premier League and I won so playing against Gor Mahia is just another football game,” he said.
“The only thing I can say to Nairobi United fans is that they should come in their numbers because they wouldn’t be disappointed. We will give them what they want. If they want the trophy, we will give them the trophy.”
The 20-year-old further revealed why he decided to donate his award to MYSA, “The reason why I have donated in MYSA is because when I first arrived here (in 2022) a friend of mine called Emmanuel introduced me here for the goalkeeping clinic and they took me in as a brother and I felt at home. I needed to give them back and repay them for whatever they gave to me.”
The clash against Gor Mahia is set for Sunday 29th June at Ulinzi Complex from 3pm.
