FKF Proposed Kick Off Dates for 2025/26 season

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) released a proposed calendar with kick off dates for all their leagues for the 2025/26 season.

In a statement to newsrooms on Monday, the Hussein Mohammed led team has proposed Saturday, September 20, 2025 as the date where the new FKF Premier League season should Kick Off.

While the Kenyan top flight has been scheduled to kick off early, lower leagues like the National Super League (NSL), will commence on September 13.

The 2025/26 FKF National Super League is set to kick off on Saturday, 13th September 2025, ahead of the FKF Premier League which will begin a week later on Saturday, 20th September 2025.
The following proposed dates have been tabled for approval;

OTHER COMPETITIONS
– FKF Super Cup: 13th September 2025
– FKF Women’s Super-Cup: 20th September 2025
– FKF Cup: 31st January 2026
– FKF Women’s Cup: 14th February 2026

Apart from the proposed dates for top leagues and Cup competitions, the Federation proposed that all other leagues should commence no later than October 2025 and conclude by June 2026.
