Kenyan giants Gor Mahia club management walked home 10 million richer after visiting the club patron, the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, at his Karen home.
The management of the record 21-time league champions received the financial boost, as confirmed by the club through their Facebook page.

“An incredible visit to our Patron, Hon. Raila Odinga and Mama Ida Odinga’s home in Karen, the club management had a good time; In a demonstration of his unwavering commitment and truly generous gesture, our Patron presented the club with a monumental gift of KSh 10 million to support administrative functions. We are deeply grateful to our Patron and his family,” reads the post.
K’Ogalo have had a mixed start to the 2025/26 league season, losing 1-0 to Bidco United through a late penalty in their season opener before beating Sofapaka 2-0 in their second league match.
Gor Mahia’s newest signing, Ebenezer Boadi Adukwaw, announced his presence in the Kenyan SportPesa League, scoring on either side of halftime, the second being a long-range strike that caught Sofapaka goalkeeper Victor Kamungo out of position and went into the back of the net.
Gor Mahia is now in pursuit of its second league victory when it plays KCB on Sunday, October 04 at the Dandora Stadium from 3 pm EAT.
