Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Ouma had been linked with a move to Czech Republic giants Slavia Prague last week but the deal seems to have hit a snag.
The player has been a subject of speculation since last year owing to his impressive outing in the UEFA Europa League with IF Elfsborg with teams in the English Championship said to have enquired about his availability.

While reports in Sweden say that the deal was close, Czech’s portal inFotbal.cz says that Ouma’s move to Prague has never been closed and the interest for the player is off.
Prague feels that Elfsborg are overpricing the player with the Swedish club said to have demanded a sum of sh 465 Million to let the player leave. The other reason for the delay is that Prague head coach Jindřich Trpišovský has been impressed by winter signing David Moses (20).
There had been reports that Moses had been earmarked for a loan deal this January but he has impressed in the club’s training camp in Marbella, Spain and the club no longer needs a player in midfield. The club has also strengthened the midfield by promoting 18-year-old Dominik Pecha to the first team. The player will now not go on loan like most other youngsters and will remain permanently in the A-team.
In addition to Christos Zafeiris (21), Oscar Dorley (26) and the aforementioned Moses, Filip Prebsl (21) and Divine Teah (18), other winter acquisitions, can also play in the middle of the two-man midfield.
